Animal Intake

If you are looking to surrender an animal for any reason you would have to go through a surrendering process. We require a few weeks to review all paperwork, please take note that we cannot promise a time frame on when we can take on your animals. We are a non-profit organization and also a no-kill shelter; we rely on our space and resources in order to help provide for each animal that comes through HSDR. We intake our animals on a appointment based only between Monday - Friday. There will also be a surrendering fee of $50 on the day of the scheduled appointment. Please do your best in trying to re-home the animal on your own. A shelter should be your last resort for placing your animal.
